Metal roofing installation in Eastern Iowa

Metal Roofing

The last roof your home will ever need

Metal roofing lasts 40–70 years and handles everything Iowa weather can throw at it — hail, wind, heavy snow, and the freeze-thaw cycles that wear out asphalt in 15.

Metal roofing is a long-term decision. Make it once.

Metal roofing is one of the best long-term investments you can make in a property in Eastern Iowa. While asphalt shingles need replacing every 15–25 years, a properly installed metal roof can last 40–70 years — often outliving the mortgage.

Iowa's weather is hard on roofs. Hailstorms, sustained high winds, heavy snow loads, and the constant expansion and contraction from freeze-thaw cycles wear out standard roofing fast. Metal doesn't crack, curl, or absorb moisture. Snow sheds off the surface naturally — no ice dams, no weight buildup.

We install both standing seam systems (hidden fasteners, clean modern lines) and exposed fastener panel systems for homes and commercial properties across Eastern Iowa.

How a metal roofing install works

Metal roofing requires precision at every step. Here's how we approach it.

01

Roof Inspection & Measurements

We inspect your current roof, take precise measurements, and assess the pitch and structure to make sure metal is the right fit and determine the correct panel profile.

02

Panel & Color Selection

Choose your panel style — standing seam for a clean modern look, or exposed fastener panels for a more traditional profile. Then pick from 20+ color options.

03

Tear-Off & Prep

Existing roofing comes off. The decking is inspected and repaired where needed. A quality underlayment and moisture barrier go down before any metal touches the roof.

04

Panel Installation

Panels are installed in sequence, properly lapped and fastened. On standing seam systems, hidden clips are used — no exposed fasteners, no future leak points.

05

Flashing, Trim & Ridge Cap

Every edge, valley, and penetration gets proper flashing. Ridge cap and trim details are finished to spec. This is where lesser installs fail — we don't rush this part.

06

Final Inspection & Walkthrough

We inspect every seam, fastener, and flashing point before calling it done. You get a complete walkthrough and your warranty documentation.
